The source was an author-owned graduate methods PDF, not a public landmark paper. I used the same file in ChatGPT, NotebookLM, and SocriFlow on 16 August 2026.
I did not score writing quality or model intelligence. I only asked whether each tool could read the file, leave something I could reopen, and continue that review on iPhone.
Job 1 is a usable reading: can I get a faithful pass over the file. Job 2 is reopenable review: can I come back tomorrow without rebuilding the chat. Job 3 is iPhone continuation: can that review keep going on a phone.
